Unique Photos for
Unique Businesses
Since I started on the Hilite staff, I've learned new skills along with improving the old. I have improved what I know by not only taking pictures of the students at CHS but taking my photography to places outside such as small businesses around Carmel all the way to places around Indiana. I plan to continue my experiences to places further throughout the state but also outside of it.

One of the few things I do monthly for the staff is food reviews and photo essays along with them, such as the one below. The photo essay shown is of SubZero in Downtown Carmel. Along with this, I reviewed four other ice cream parlors: Cold Stone, Handel's, Bub's and Graeter's. Fellow staff member, Kris Otten, helps write the reviews with me. We have a food blog on the Hilite website called "The Sweet Life of Kris and Caitlyn." To read our reviews and view the photos, click the photo below.

Recent Work I've Made With Awesome BusinessesAnother place I've recently done a photo essay on was the Miniature House Museum in Downtown Carmel. This was one of my favorite essays I've ever done for the staff. The photos were unlike any other. I had to learn new skills to make it look as if I was in the house instead of only taking photos of the outside. It was an adventure I'd love to make again.
